HICKS FAMILY IN COUNTY IN 1790

There was a "Job" Hicks listed for the 1790 Chowan county census and I am trying to locate
JOHN HICKS born 1780 in North Carolina
he had a Son named Jobe and I thought this "Job" might be the Father of John since the name of Jobe has been found as Job/John/ and maybe John's Father was the Job in 1790 amd he used the name of Jobe for one of his Sons

John Hicks 1780-1840 married to a Eunice
If anyone has any information on this man named "Job" I would appreciate it
