Does anyone have a copy of "Cradle of the Colony:The History of Chowan County and Edenton, NC" by Dr.Thomas C. Paramore, Jr. ? It was published in 1967 by the Edenton Chamber of Commerce.
Would someone be willing to look up the name Burton Hathaway in the book? I understand he is mentioned [from another source], and I was curious to know what the book says about him. Burton Hathaway was a mariner/privateer? captured by the British during the Revolutionary war.
