I am searching for information on Betsey (Elizabeth?) Patrick and her husband, Dr. Joseph Mares (Meres) (Maris) (Meyers) in Craven, NC 8/23/1806. They had a daughter, Eliza Eleandor Mares b. 1807 in New Bern, NC who married Beasor Barrow. Dr. J. Mares was previously married to Lydia Unknown and they had a daughter, Sophia Louise Mares who married a Brady.
