Thank you so much for answering. I do already have the 1930 census. Thank you for this information about him being in a nursing home. According to the obit of his son Jerome K. Nix. James's wifes name would be Mrs. Elsie Roberts Nix. According to the article we found on the usgenweb site for this county, His son was found dead in his home by his father. It went on to give the sons obit. I would love to find an obit for James Veto Nix, I would like to see if his two sisters were still living and where they were. Their names were Earline and Pauline. We only met them one time at the death of their father in 1977. It is our understanding that James and his father only saw each other one time after 1930. Any help you could give me would really be appreciated. I was kinda hoping to find that maybe someone knew of the two daughters of Jerome. According to his obit their names were Regina and Jennifer. I would like to know about his life and maybe see pictures. Again, thanks a million.
