First Bowdens (?) around 1817?

Has anyone ever come across Arthur Bowden (b about 1775, d about 1831), married to Sophia Ann, 3 sons (Thomas, Timothy, William) who from Accomack (Assateague Island, Northampton Co VA) to Currituck Co NC (Knott's Island)around 1817?

I'm trying to find parents of Arthur (sometimes spelled Arther) & origin of the Bowdens (or Bowdoins or Bowdons) on Knott's Island.

Any Knott's Island Bowden stories of are welcome!
