I assume you have the will of Joshua White written 24 Feb 1777 and probated Jun 1777. He does name his wife as Lydia. He leaves Patrick "land on Marramacket on the lake".
I can not add anything furthe on his children. But the following is what I have on his ancestry.
Joshua is the son of Henry White and his first wife, Ledia Church. The other children of this marriage are: Ann, Julian, Hilary, Joseph, Joshua (above), Church, Mary and Henry.
Henry's second wife was Esther Jones. The children from this marriage are: Gideon, Daniel, Solomon, and Cornelius.
Henry's third wife was Dorcas LNU. The children from this marriage are: Caleb and Betsy.
Henry wrote his will 22 Dec 1751 and it was probated 10 Sep 1754 in Currituck Co., NC
Henry was the son of Solomon White & his first wife Mary Spratt. Their children were: Solomon, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary and Isabella.
Solomon White's second wife was Barbara Cornick. I do not believe there were any children from this union. Solomon was b. bef. 1671. He wrote his will 27 Sep 1734 and it was probated 3 Feb 1734/35.
Solomon was the son of Patrick White and Elizabeth LNU. Patrick's estate was settled 5 Oct 1691 Princess Anne Co., VA, DB 1: Inventory of the estate of Patrick White by John Sandford, Thomas Jackson, James Dauge, Edward Jones sworn to by Elizabeth White, Admnx.
Patrick and Elizabeth White had the following children: Solomon, Patrick, Elizabeth, Dinah and Ruth.
Patrick White came to this country in 1648 as an indentured servant to Major Thomas Lambert. He later obtained several land grants.

Where did you find that he was transported from Ireland as a convict in 1653?
