Why don't you email me directly or tell me your email address and I will email you. It will be a whole lot simpler that way.
You mentioned Lydia Church's father as Joshua. I do not have a Joshua Church in my data base - which, of course, doesn't mean anything, there are probably a zillion Church's that I don't have. Richard Church (b. ca. 1645 in Norfolk Co., VA) is my 7th great grandfather. His son Joseph (d. Bet. 28 Feb 1722/23 - 09 Apr 1723 in Currituck Co., NC) had a daughter Ledia (various sp) who married Henry White (my line). Joseph's son Richard also named a daughter Lydia who married a Cawson and Jacob Caroon (my line). Cawson and Caroon may have been the same person - just that the spelling was corrupted.
Getting back to Patrick White. Unfortunately, when I began doing genealogy research many years ago, I did not always note my sources. I can only assure you that I did not dream it up. I have seen the date 1653 in land patents but that does not necessarily mean that was when the people were transported here. Headrights were much abused. Some were claimed multiple times and in some cases many years later. I will have to do more research on Patrick when I get back to the library.
