My e-mail address is jkochak@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!

I may have gotten the name on Ledia's father wrong. I will look where it came from. Some of the stuff I have is from unconfirmed sources, and frankly I've found some mistakes!

As for Patrick, I know the headrights were badly abused. I was thinking that if he came over in 1648, that wouldn't necessarily rule out a Cromwell connection. I'm really pretty sure he was connected to the Anglo-Irish Whites, because it all adds up. I will send you some info on that.

I did find mention of him as being listed in a book about "persons of quality" coming over, and the date was 1653. I don't have access to the book, though, just the reference.

It turns out Patrick was not a common name, which makes him easier to track. I just have a gap between the Currituck Co. Whites and my frontier Whites, but I can't find any other Patrick Whites, and names were repeated over and over and over again, as I'm sure you've noticed! The name "Patrick White" is almost like a marker, because there are Patrick Whites in my family to this day - my cousin, my nephew, and a long-lost "cousin" I found on genforum!

I have a copy of Cavaliers & Pioneers from the library right now if you want me to look up anything on the Churches. My family seems to have been running with the Taylors until well into the 1800s, which seems to be another link to the Whites in Currituck Co./Norfolk Co., Va.
