I have been to the Currituck County website, which was very helpful. Strangely, I have the same gap in records, but between 1800, when he was in Pendleton District, S.C., and 1830, when he was in Marion County, Al. I think he was in Georgia, but I don't know where. He and his family members were in Lawrence, Walker, Marion and Fayette counties in Alabama that I know of, and probably more; Bibb County was in the same general neck of the woods. In Arkansas, I know of the Pine Bluff area and then Independence County. I would love to have the 1827 Lottery link. Also, I think I have a will somewhere that mentions Vinson. I will check.
