RESEARCHING JOSHUA WALL WHO DIED IN CURRITUCK CO, N.C.
3/1744-45.
Susposedly Joshua was the son of Thomas Wall who immigrated to Maryland in the 1600's. and died in Dorchester Co, Md. in 1700-1701...
Joshua could have been born in Maryland or even in England.
It is beleived this line of Wall family members came to Maryland from Preston, Lancashire, England.
The only Wall I have found on the Ships Passenger list says ____Wall & Mrs. Wall, which is no help at all...
It is beleived Thomas came to the USA with a brother and possible a wife and daughter...
I found a Alice Wall and dau.. Alice Wall released from
indenturedness.. It did not list Mr. Wall's given name..?
So, possible someone paid their way to the USA.
This line of Wall family members is decended from a line of Many Wall men who held the position of MAYOR in Preston.
They also married into other Mayors families by the name of BANESTER, HODGKINSON, & TREVOR (TRAVIS).
I WOULD LIKE TO FIND THE PARENTS & SIBLINGS OF THOMAS AND the YEAR HE ARRIVED IN THE USA ???
