Hello,

I checked my Margaret Forbes (about 10) and sorry none were born in 1820 time frame and none married a Smith.

1 Have you found any marriage info?

I have copies of some NC Currituck Forbes index records.
My Forbes Currituck marriage info starts w/1852,
no Forbes/Smith
My Forbes Currituck death info 1915
My Forbes Currituck birth info 1914

2 Do you have any siblings names?

3 Did you check Estate papers to see if a male Forbes left a daughter named Margaret Smith an inheritance?

4 Lastly were there any deed records with both names?
