Hi Ruth:
I have a daughter that lives in Wanchese and knows the area well so I sent your question to her and here is her reply:
It is two different cemetery's--
The first one is at Route 345 and that turns into Mill Landing Road. At the Wanchese Assembly of God Church is where the cemetery is (she can turn into the lane and park in the Church parking lot)
The second one she will need to take Route 345 to Wanchese then take the Old Wharf Road down to E.R. Daniels Road, make a left onto E.R. Daniels Road and then make a right onto Davis Landing Road and then a right onto Mosley Lane. There are just a few graves on the right hand side of the road in a yard. I don't think anyone would object visiting the graves on Mosley Lane.
There is a cemetery on Route 345 coming into Wanchese on the right side of the road that have some graves also that might be some of the Pugh Family. You have to watch close for the cemetery, it is located on the straight stretch just after you pass Mallard's Marsh Building.
In my direct family line I have an ELIZABETH PUGH b.1730
that married John George Kehl in Frederick Count VA.
You wouldn't by chance be connected to that family of PUGH'S would you ???
