Knowing that many residents of Portsmouth Island re-located to Hatteras Island and that many residents of Hatteras Island resided at Portsmouth at some point and time. I am looking for old photos of these people and any old photos taken at Portsmouth to use in THE FRIENDS OF PORTSMOUTH ISLAND's newsletter and for our Archives collection. I am also interested in corresponding with these families related to genealogy. If you think you have any such photos please dig deep to find them. You are such a big part of the island's history we want to learn more about you. We also want any stories or family tales about the same. Please contact me.
