Lee Hassell was the son of Alethie Bessie Lane (my great Aunt) and Leonard Hassell. I do not have any info on the Hassell family since my line is from the Lanes. I can find out if the Hassell who owned the business you are talking about was Lee. I think it was. It was a Chevrolet

believe. I am originally from Wanchese in Dare County where the Lanes were from. If you would like for me to check on the Hassell & Creef, let me know.
