I am seeking information regarding William Ashby who moved to Dare/Currituck County, NC in 1811. He was in the area about 10 years before moving to Yadkin/Surry County, NC. William Ashby was born April 20, 1772 and married Sarah Simons and Annis Whitehurst. He was born in Virginia. Do you have any information on this Ashby?
