I am looking for descendants of Ruth/Rutha Varker, b. 1854, probably in Silver Hill Township, Davidson County, NC. Ruth was the daughter of Mary Ann Varker and Thomas Varker, my great-grandparents. Thomas was killed in a mining a mining accident in Mecklenburg in May 1854, either just before or right after Ruth/Rutha was born. I do not know if she married or, if so, to whom. The last information found about her is the 1870 census with her Mother, Mary Ann, sister Sarah, and brother John G. Varker. Ruth/Rutha's other brother was James T. Varker, my grandfather.
