Hi Della Mae,
I came across your query regarding the death notice of your uncle Leo Newsome who died in Denton on January 22, 1997. I have two suggestions. The first would be to contact the Denton Orator located in Denton, North Carolina. Another place you could probably check is at the Randolph County Public Library located at 201 Worth Street in Asheboro, North Carolina. I can email a friend who works there and see if they have a copy of his obituary on file and get back to you.

If you need addresses for any of the above mentioned places, just let me know.
