I'm looking for parents of John Bruff and/or Zevely Livengood, who married in Rowan County in 1818...
Can any one help on either of these surnames? The census records show that John was born in NC, but I find no other family except his and his children in the state...There are lots of Livengoods, but no Zevely listed as a child... Could it be Elizabeth who used Zevely to distinguish her from all the other Elizabeths I found? Please help if you have info on either of these lines..
