Have recently learned that James King, my g-g-g-grandfather may have been married in Duplin Co. His wife was Sarah ?, and the marriage must have been about 1775-1785. On 1790 census he, his wife and two sons, less than 16, are in Edgefield Co. S.C. In 1792 a son Willis was born. Willis, in 1813, married Nancy Williams, the dau of David Williams, in Bulloch Co.Ga. David Williams, and his father, William Williams, were Rev. War soldiers from Dulpin Co. and Nancy was born in Duplin Co. There is a good connection with Duplin Co. and it seems reasonable that James King may have been married there. Thanks for your help. Ed King
