I have found a James MOODY age 45 and over in the 1800 no named town, Duplin Co., NC census.
Who was he and does anyone here know about his family or where they came from?

1800 Census info -
James MOODY age 45 and over (so b.no later than c1755 and probably before since a male age 26-44, poss. a son is living with him).
1 male 26-44 (so b.c1773 perhaps a son OR a son-in-law)
3 males under age 10
1 female age 45 and over (prob. James' wife)
1 female 26-44 (either a daughter or a daugh.-in-law)
and 1 female 10 and under.

A Thomas BELL age 26-44 is a nearby neighbor which is also a name that shows up in the McQuiston genealogy and associated with the Moody family who came from Nor. Ireland to PA to NC with the McQuiston's in c1735. The McQuiston name was also seen spelled as HOUSTON/HEWSTON and other names like HUTCHISON and HUTCHINSON and are supposedly all related to the same Clan of Uisdean back in Scotland many many years ago.

If anyone has info about this particular MOODY family I would be Most Interested.
Thank You.
