Looking for info. on the George, Jones Smith families I found info were the family was in Duplin County around Smith Township about 1726 and part of them moved to GA during the Civil War then to AR and TX. The George Smith that moved was b. 1805 in Duplin and d. in TX. He married in to the Grady family and his father was Jones Smith.
