I'm looking for information about my Lanier family line. My great great grandfather was Matthew Cornelius Lanier, born in 1883. I have his father listed as a Thomas Lanier, born in 1851. Matthew and 2 of his siblings were raised by their grandfather and grandmother, Ira and Clarissa. I don't know why the kids were raised by their grandparents. Any info on Matthew, Thomas, or Ira would be greatly appreciated.
