Contact me directly and I'll see what I can do regarding this. I just checked the Lowe's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Allen Dew's website and will need to look at it more carefully. Reason for my thinking along these lines is that I'm a member of Lowe's Grove Baptist Church and Robert Downey was on our cemetery committee for years!!! He was a comtempory of my parents. His widow, Helen, passed away on May 31, 2005 (at least I think I have the date correct as it was the Tuesday after Memorial Day-my mom was in the hospital at the same time is why I remember the date so well. I'm not finding much in the way of this family in the known area of Lowe's Grove. I know Robert Downey was the son of Leo and Mettie High Downey. Mettie was the daughter of James R and Mattie Hailey High. Mattie was the daughter of John Sidney and Emma Lowe Hailey and Emma was the daughter of Edmund and Martha "Patsy" Sorrell Lowe. Aunt Emma was sister to my gr grandmother, Mary Parthenia Lowe Hopson. Need more information. I'm going to back tract some census records for James and Elizabeth "Betsy" High. Love to hear from you.
