I need to verify this information, and apparently i am unable to do it alone.. I need to see if there is any record of a Joeseph or Joe Cates who married Lucy Cain on 10-26-1884...after joe died, Lucy Cain married David Samuel Cates, who was Joe's brother. the date of that marriage is 12-10-1893... befor David married Lucy, he had married Rebecca Dollar, on 3-13-1887 or 3-16-1887... i had two dates for them... Rebeca and Joe died about the same time, and i guess thats how Lucy ended up with David Cates... also is there any information on Mary Foster at all.. i believe that Mary was the mother of Lucy or Rebecca... i found Mary Foster on the 1910 Durham census. she was living with David and Lucy, listed as a widowed mother inlaw.. thanks alot.
