Angus Maynor---lost grandfather----Durham NC barber 1900's

Angus Edgar (My Grandfather) (b. 6-22-1877 in Moore/Chatham county NC) married Virginia Ella O'Neal in Durham in 1902. Angus was a barber in Durham NC (early 1900's), Greensboro NC (1926 & 1927--maybe Gates City Barber Shop), Hendersonville NC (1926). He disappeared from Greensboro NC in May 1927. Virginia got an absolute divorce in 1933. Angus (pronounced Anguish) was "rumored" to have been living in or around the Asheville NC area in the early 1960's. He also had a brother, Cornelius (Neal) J. that was also a barber and married to Hassie Short Fields. Hassie was listed in the 1911-12 Durham, NC City Directory as a boarder at a house on Smallwood Avenue and in 1910 as a boarder with Mary E. Short in Gilmer Twp in Guilford County. Angus (sometimes pronounced anguish) may have changed his name ~ our family has a photo of him from the 1920's. Any replies most welcome!
