LOOKING FOR GREEN DUKE HOUSE FROM VIRGINIA OR GRANVILLE NORTH CAROLINA to HENRY COYNTY, TENNESSEE with son named John B. House (1/22/1797 -6/3/1848) who is buried in Young Cemetery, Henry Co., TN. His son John House lived in Henry County with his wife Elizabeth and they had a son named John B. House (b. in NC 9/14/1815 and d. 9/27/1888 in Lytle, Atascosa, Texas) who moved to Dallas County, Arkansas.
I am also trying to find a link with my Jnos(John B. House) who married Mary Elizabeth Reyburn/Reyborn/Rayborn Dec 14, 1847 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with the House family from Warren, Arkansas. My ggrandfather GEORGE HOUSE was enumerated with the John B. House family in Dallas County, Arkansas.

1. GREEN DUKE1 HOUSE was born 1794 in North Carolina, and died 1821 in Bedford County, Tennessee. He
married SUSANNA PARKER 20 Apr 1813 in Wake County, North Carolina, daughter of JOHN PARKER and
CHLOE LASSITER. She was born 1795 in North Carolina, and died 1854.

Atascosa, Texas. He married MARY ELIZABETH REYBURN 14 Dec 1837 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, daughter
of JAMES REYBURN and CATHERINE WYSOR. She was born 17 Sep 1818 in Montgomery,Virginia, and died
17 Mar 1890 in Lytle, Atascosa, Texas.

UPDATE: Received a copy of a will for John B. House of Henry County, Tennessee from Dorotha Reavis,
708 Nichols Drive, West Plains, MO 65775, ph. (417) 256-4755 of West Plains, Missouri. John B. House was
born January 22, 1787, died June 3, 1848 and was buried in Young Cemetery, Henry County, Tennessee.
His will is dated January 27, 1846. His wife's name was Elizabeth. Names of his children were listed and
the names of slaves devised to each child.

Slave Andy to be sold for paying the debts of estate.
William Duke and Amos Mulliken appointed executors of estate. will dated January 27, 1846 and witnessed
by Mischeck Street, Thomas House and John Young. Will recorded in Book 16, Pages 276 & 277 in Henry
County, Tennessee on November 6, 1868.

A Deed of Conveyance was obtained from the Dallas County Courthouse in February 2001 by Marva
Laverne Yarrell. The deed reads as follows: "Know all men by these presents that whereas we whose names
are heeunto subscribed are as appeared upon the Record of Deeds in said county tenants in common of the
following realty in said County situate and lying to wit: Southwest quarter (SW1/4) of Section 24, Township
8, South Range 16 West and the full S.west 1/4 of Section 19 in Township 8 South Range 15 west containing
in the aggregate three hundred and thirty four acres more or less, and whereas we have heretofore made
and actual division of said lands and we are now using and occupying it as homesteads separately for which
purpose the division was made and now therefore we make unto this the said GREEN D. HOUSE a perfect
title in law and Equity his portion of said lands now occupied as aforesaid and in consideration of the
conveyance herein made to me, WM. L. HOUSE do hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said
GREEN D. HOUSE my entire interest in and to the following portion of land to with: the South west
quarter of Section 24 in Township 8 South Range 16 West to have and to hold the same unto him the said
GREEN DUKE HOUSE his heirs and assigns forever. And I JOSEPHINE C. HOUSE wife to said WM. L.
HOUSE do hereby waive relinquish revise and release unto him the said G. D. HOUSE all of any right title
and claim of dower in to said lands for the consideration here before mentioned and I, GREEN D. HOUSE
for and consideration of the conveyance to me herein made do hereby grant bargain sell revise release and
convey unto WM. L. HOUSE my entire interest and claim to the part of said land described as follows to
wit: The South West quarter of Section 19 in Township 8 South in 15 west to have and to hold the same
unto him the said WM. L. HOUSE his heirs and assigns forever and I ELIZABETH HOUSE wife to said
GREEN D. HOUSE do hereby waive relinquish revise and release unto the said WM. L. HOUSE for the
consideration afore said all of my right title and claim of Dower in and said last described land. In
Testimony wherefore we hereunto subscribe and names and affix our seals this the 18th day of March 1876.

Be it remembered that on the 18th day of March 1876 presonally appeared before me E.H. Harris, County

personally well known as the person whose names appear to the above and foregoing instrument of writing,
who acknowledge that they had signed sealed and executed the same for the considerations therein set forth
and contained and desired me to certify and I do so certify. and on the same day and at the same place also
voluntarily appeared before me JOSAPHINE C. HOUSE & ELIZABETH HOUSE, wives restively to the
said WM. L. HOUSE & GREEN D. HOUSE and in the absence of their said husbands declared that they
had of their own free will signed sealed and executed the said instrument of writing for the purposes therein
contained and set forth without compulsion or undue influence of their said husbands.
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and on the 18th of March A.D. 1876.

document. George House, my great-grandfather, and his brothers & sister were enumerated with them in
the August 15, 1870 Princeton Township, Dallas County, Arkansas census dwelling house #78-72.

Joseph S. Luckett, 384-A Hogan Branch Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Submission # AF91-101377. Mr. &
Mrs. Luckett gave me permission to use their information. I also obtained information from
http//:www.ancestry.com that lists Green Duke House and Susanna Parker as the father & mother of Jnos.

I located a Slave Inhabitants Census dated August 16, 1860 for Jefferson County, Washington Township,
Arkansas(Schedule 2, Page 2) which lists the following information:
JOHN B. HOUSE, SLAVE OWNER (owned 2 slave houses)
1 slave, age 30, black male
1 slave, age 25, black male
1 slave, age 13, black male
1 slave, age 20, black female
1 slave, age 30, black female
1 slave, age 7, black male
1 slave, age 5, black male
1 slave, age 1, black male
Names of the slaves are not listed. However, John B. lived between other slave owners, G.L. Bluckwitte
(unsure of spelling) who owned 2 slaves and S. W. McGhee who owned 17 slaves.
