As far as I can see no one used Jacqueline as a name. Most of this research was given to me. It was done by several different people. I think there is some American Indian blood in this line, but no one seems to be able to pin down exactly where. Years ago this was not looked on favorably so a lot of history went by the way side. As far as I know most of the Smith line stayed in Granville County. this line was mostly in the Southeastern corner of Granville County and into Wake, and Franklin. But that is just what I have, and going by what happened to other lines of mine, I am sure some must have left and went West. I have tracked other lines to TN, KY, IN, and almost all other states East of the Mississippi River, and into MIssouri, and Arkansas. After the Civil War they went everywhere.
