There was a census done in 1786 which broke down the districts and counted the number of people in each household by age groups, under the name of the Head of Household. In the 1786 Granville Census the Districts were: County Line Nutbush Island Creek (taken by Howell Lewis) Dutch (signed by Pr. Edmd. Taylor Jur.) Raglands Fishing Creek (taken by Zacharias Higgs) Tar(r) River Goshen (taken by Thomas Owen) Henderson (taken by Tho. Burton) Nap of Reeds (taken by John Manire) Abraham Plains (taken by Samuel Smith) Epping Forest (taken by Charles P. Eaton) Oxford (taken by R.
