Kathy,
I am doing some research for a man who has been trying to find his ggrandfather for over 4 years. The grandfather is William Barney Peeler and his mother was Georgia May Peeler. I have the line from Barney back to Germany about 1680.
My question is.....I have found that Georgia had two boys out of wedlock in 1923 and 1925. She is listed in the 1930 census living with her mother, Amanda, and with two boys William B and John Rome Peeler. They are listed as Amanda's grandchildren. The 1910,1920 and 1930 census Georgia is listed as Single. I suspect who the father was.Would the Bastard Bonds for Rutherford Co be avaible and if so whats the chance that Georgia would name the father. I know you have some experience in this subject and I thought you may help. They could have been born in Cleveland Co,NC as well.
Any thoughts on this?
