Dear Juli,
It's so nice to hear from a relative. How does your line go?
I do have some pictures but haven't scanned them yet and am not sure exactly where they are. Can pictures be posted to this forum?
As for location, the cemetery is just off the highway between Hendersonville and Asheville (not route 25, but the one on the west side--it's route 191). Heading north from Hendersonville , you go to where Prison Camp Road cuts in on the right, then turn left a little farther on. I'm sorry I don't know the exact name of the road, but the cemetery is so close to route 191 that you can see 191 from the cemetery. It's on a hill and the Dunlap monument is right at the top under a cedar tree. The way the monument is made is with small stones, creamy and brown, embedded in cement (I guess) with a flat marble (?) plaque in the middle with lettering on it as I described in the first post. It's pretty distinctive and is very like other tombstones he made, including some in the St. Matthew's Cemetery, where other Dunlaps are buried and at St. Paul's where related Lyda people lie.

We're descended from Henry through his son Joseph and then his son Francis and then his daughter Louise, who was my husband's mother. Most of our branch are buried (or were formerly buried--Joseph and his wife were moved!) at St Matthews in Hillgirt.
Good to hear from you. Glad to answer what I can.
Carol
