Am searching for information on my Grandparents. George Sawyer and Julia Greene/Sawyer.
Julia died at a young age, I am 64 years and she died before I was born. I know nothing about her family. George Sawyer, I remeber some. I remember him telling me they were from Hyde County. Later they moved to Washington by boat. They had daughters Viola, Bessie, Tiny, Lillie and a son Cecil. Viola is my mother and I know she was born in Hyde County.
I remember hearing the names of Brickhouse and Sadler when I was young. Remember going to the Brickhouse home in Hyde County. Not sure whether these are kinfolk or friends. The Sadlers are sure kinfolk. Swindell is another name I remember, but believe it was from the Washington area.
If any one has any info, no matter how large or small, please let me know. Especially would like parents names. Thanks
