William Erwin of Southern Iredell-then-Rowan County, NC 1750-62

Robert Ramsey’s “Carolina Cradle” shows on his map, on page 95, of the Fourth Creek Congregation 1750-1762 in Iredell-then-Rowan County, NC, a #55 William Erwin. He seems to be living in the same place (on Young’s Creek, where Rocky Creek is today, southwest of Troutman, NC) where John Erwin is living in 1773 on the William Sharpe’s Fourth Creek Congregation. Since this John Erwin named his first-born son William, I can only assume that #55 William is John’s father. Ramsey states, in reference to this William, that there were two Williams, who came down from PA, but he isn’t specific. Does anyone have any information on this William? Thanks for your help.
