Looking for the parents of Sarah Gunn, b. 17 Feb. 1796, m. Henry Gouger, Jr. 19 July 1819 in Rowan County, died 27 May 1836 in Rowan County. According to information on my brother's research, Sarah traveled from VA with her parents and brother to NC. Her father was reported to be a medical doctor. The mother was ill, hence their trip south for a better climate. Apparently the mother died in NC. Sarah's mother possibly could have been a Lehman, as Sarah's first daughter was named Catherine Lehman. The father and brother were said to have continued their journey to Atlanta.
