Thanks for the info Jerri. I am attempting to establish whether Ezekiel and Daniel Perry were brothers. My grgrgrandfather Daniel Perry was born about 1795 and lived and owned property on Long Creek at Scaley Branch in Montgomery (Stanly) Co. He left for Tennessee in 1822. We are brickwalled with him. I understand the descendants of Ezekiel are brickwalled at him also. He was in Montgomery Co. at the same time as Daniel. He had a son Daniel. If we could establish they were brothers perhaps that would aid us both in breaking down that wall. I think DNA testing would be the best way to make the determination if they are members of the same family. We have rather extensive DNA records on the descendants of Daniel Perry already. I will be bringing DNA test kits (cheek swab) with me on a trip to North Carolina early in September. I would love to meet with some Perry surnamed descendants of Ezekiel Perry to explore whether we are the same family. My present plans are to be at the KOA campground near Troutman (exit 45 on I77)on September 5 and 6 (Saturday and Sunday). Descendants of Ezekiel can contact me at: wbperry@comcast.net or by phone at 423-332-2038. Bill Perry Soddy Daisy, TN Notify Administrator about this message?
