Searching for parents & ancestry of William Blackstock Thompson. We know:
* Wm B's father was born in PA (according to Census records)
* Wm Blackstock was b 7 Dec 1807 (or possibly 1815) in Iredell Co NC
* Wm B married Jan 1840 to Jeanette 'Jane' Johnston
* Jeanette 'Jane' b Jan 1823 in either SC or Anson Co NC,
* William B & Jane had 3 children in McDowell Co NC (1842-1846)
* Their 4th child born in Macon Co NC in 1849.

Haven't found any records prior to 1850. Would LOVE to locate a birth or marriage record, or other records to help uncover his ancestral history.
