I would like to know what happen to Nelson Bowers he was listed in 1870 jackson co nc census with his parents
John 68,Elizabeth 54, Alfred 24,Nelson 14, Angeline 12, Elvira 7, Levi 5. in 1880 Nelson is in swain co with his wife Hattie 24, living beside them is Nelson father and mother and some brothers and sister, I am not related to this family I just need to verify If this James Nelson Bowers is the one who married a Eliza A hyde. Nelson and Eliza married then divorced some where I think Bryson city had a son named Amos Bowers born 1881 in swain co nc. after the divorce Eliza married a Bill Cline had Elvira married Tom Welch, Mary married a millsaps, Nancy Cline married a Cable,

absolum had a son named isaac Cline.Eliza husband Bill Cline got killed and Eliza remarried in 1884 in I think Blount co Back to James Nelson I am trying to see if this is two different Eliza Hyde My Eliza Hyde married a James Bowers in cherokee nc they are living with her father in 1860,1870 I can no longer find her, but there is a James Nelson Hyde and Eliza A hyde in monroe co tn in 1900,1910,1920 in 1900 monroe co they are listed as 1900 monroe right beside Amos Bowers
