I am researching Morrison, Davis, Kerby line. My grandmother, Melvina Davis' sister, Mary Ann married David Brown. They are named in a deed registered in Jackson Co. dated 8 March 1878 to George W. Morrison and signed by James L. Davis, Mr. J. Davis, David Brown, M.A. Brown and G. E. Davis. Mary Ann's parents were John Davis and Nancy Caroline Gunter. Hope this is some help. Charles Morrison
