BERTIE IOLA MARTIN and CHARLIE ROBERT JARMAN are my grandparents.my great grandfather was james robert jarman born may 10th 1857, died oct 16 1923.GG grandfather was james lemuel jarman, born 1835, he may have been in civil war.GGG grandfather was robert jarman born 1816 his wife was lucinda basden,born 1821. they had 6 kids-eliza, martha, robert, arilla, lemual, and john.my great grandfather on the martin side was james edward martin, born 1857 he married pheribee heath she was born 1858.they had 6 kids -mamie, annie dora, margarett, ada, lenzie, and bertie.most of the jarmans are buried in the jarman family cem. on hwy 41 in trenton nc -jones co.
