UPDATE....
Pleasant Pattishall, born 3/4.1802, died 1/15/1870 is buried in Chatham County, N.C. He is buried on the Old Wicker farm established by his brother, John Alston Pattishall, who never married. John is also buried on this property. The graves are marked by fieldstones. This information is from the old Wicker Bible by a descendant, Mary Rosser Holley.
Celia, born 4/4/1803, died 12/5/1868, (wife of Pleasant) is also buried on the Wicker farm.
There are only three graves on this farm.
Pleasant and John had a sister named Rebecca, who married a Joseph Wicker. They later owned this property. My guess is this is how the place ended up being called the Wicker farm.
