Correction:
Actually the reason the Pattishall Cemetery is on the Wicker farm is that John Alston Pattishall sold it to his brother (Wright)'s daughter Lora Ellen Pattishall who married Wesley Alston Wicker when they married. Family lore is that he sold it to them for a dollar and an agreement that he would have a place to live until he died. John Alston Pattishall never married and is buried with his parents, Pleasant and Celia Pattishall in this cemetery.
