Looking for information on Clarence Sumrell born in Kinston in or around 1910. Have little information on him - worked for or owned service station around 1940. Found one Clarence listed in 1910 census as son of Thomas W. and Susan Sumrell. Thomas was farmer. This Clarence's siblings were Bertha, Lela, Emma, Helen, Paul. 1910 census indicates Falling Creek Road. Sumrell's seemed to have disappeared from census altogether after 1910. Found Clarence (age 25) as a boarder in 1930 census in Baltimore, MD - auto painter - indicates he and parents born in NC. If anyone may know something about Clarence or this family I would appreciate a return message. Thanks.
