Quinn History in Lenoir County

I am trying to establish a link to Loftin Quinn and Mary Canady Quinn of Carteret and Duplin Counties during the 1700's. They were the parents of ten children, Abner, David S., Enoch, Thomas, William L., Loftin Quinn Jr.,Caleb,James,
George, and Margrett. Abner and David remained in Carteret County, however, the other children migrated inland to Duplin, Lenoir, Craven, Onslow, and Bertie counties. It is my theory that Loftin Quinn was born in Carteret County and his father was an indentured servant by the name of David Monroe Quinn who came over on the ship The Bristol Merchant,
with Thomas Webb during the William Penn settlements of 1685. If you have any information on these persons listed here, please e-mail me at betlndr@aol.com...Your help would surely be appreciated.

Thanks ,

Betty Quinn Landrum
