The newspaper article is so faint that the scan is almost worthless. Here is the obit:
"Miss Olive B. Taylor Succumbs to Stroke: Rites a 3 Friday
Miss Olive Branch Taylor, who had been making her home with a newphew, Ben Fordham, for some time, succumbed to a paralytic stroke in Parrot Memorial Hospital at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. She was stricken on Monday. Miss Taylor was a native of Lenoir County, a daughter of the late William Greene and Caroline Williams Taylor and had spent most of her life here. She is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving with a sister, Mrs. W. G. Fordam, are a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be from Garner's Funeral Home at 3:00 pm on Friday with burial in Maplewood Cemetery. Her pastor Dr. T. C. Johnson will officiate. Nephews will be pallbearers."
