Hi Nancy,
As far as I know, the only online 1880 census is on www.familysearch.org Then, you have to know the name of the person you are looking for. The format shows you the name of every person in North Carolina that has the particular name you are looking for in the 1880 census. Then you have to click on their name to bring up their census sheet to see what township, county, etc. I hope this helps..
