Does anyone recognize the name William F. Pierce b. 1839 in TN. He married Addie J. Major b. 1846 in Rutherford, TN. They married in 1868 in Wilson, TN. The 1880 census from Texas (Precient 2, Hunt, TX) has Addie's parents born in North Carolina. I suspect they were from the Madison Co. area. The Texas census also list all their children as being born in TN. As of 1880 their children were Alford, Willie, Lee, Hattie, and Katie. Any info anyone has would be appreciated.
