Looking for the parents of William Caldwell/Colwell born between 1844 and 1853 probably in Buncombe/Madison County, NC.
He was married to Nancy Jane (Jennie) Price. Their children were: James, Marion, Maggie, Cinthia, William, Ella (Ellen), and Louisa. The family lived in Cocke County, TN in 1880 census. In the 1900 Census they lived in Madison Co., NC, in the Hot Springs Township. In 1910 they lived in the Big Pine Township in Madison County, NC. William may have died about 1918 in Big Pine.
