I'm seeking info on Joshua Griffin. He is listed in the 1850 Martin Co. NC census as 33 y/o with his wife Sarah {26} & children: John N. {9}, Joshua L. {8}, Harmon {6} & Mary {3}. Also, there is a Joshua Griffin in the 1880 Census Martin Co. as {64} y/o with his wife Victoria {34}, and sons Joshua T {9} & Author {5}. Can anyone tell me if the Joshua from the 1850 census is the same Joshua from the 1880 census? Their ages would be the same. Maybe Joshua Griffin was married twice? Can anyone help me with this info?
