I am interested in information regarding Reuben Peel who lived in Martin County in the late 1700s to about 1816. He appears on the 1800 and 1810 census and purchased land as early as 1794. He owned land in the Schoolhouse Branch area of Smithwick Creek and also on Tranters creek. Reuben's wife's name was Sarah. In 1798 he purchased land for James Peel, relationship unknown but not a son as his son, James Turner Peel, was not born until 1814.
