It is good to hear from you again. I had my DNA tested and it came out R1B1, not Q like the other's with proven Joseph lines. I went back to the beginning. I have my line proven to Jesse (brother of Gaston). We need to find out who their father was (Mother = Susan Fisher Vick). I traced Wm. Stanley (the other brother) who fought in War w/ Mexico. He survived, married then moved to SC. I found a Wm. R. and an older Jesse (Rev war; B 1751)in Wayne [New Berne]area and think that is it, but the "powers that be" - say that Jesse was from Johnston County line, and that line from Joseph. My verbal family history says that we came over with Flora MacDonald. Probably had a Land Grant. We need to compare notes and get this proven. I hope to hear from you. Thanks - Chris
