Looking for any information about John and Malinda Beam. They were listed at dwelling #116 In the 1850 census in McDowell County. John, a brick mason, was 25-years-old and Malinda was 24. A girl named Catherine (I think "Sowers" was her last name), age 16, was shown living with them at the time. Would this have been Malinda's sister? Any information about them would be greatly appreciated...
